Two weeks ago my sister Tracy (TIE) Egert was having pain in her left side and decided that she should go to the emergency room as the pain was severe. After running several tests initially she was diagnosed with Colitis, after spending 3 days at Genesis East Hospital, she was sent home on medication, but after 4 days she was still having severe unrelenting pain and had to be medically transported  back to Genesis East Hospital by ambulance. Upon further test she was rushed into emergency exploratory surgery. During the surgery they found a large hole in her large intestine as well as cancerous cells in her colon. Doctors have recommended Chemo treatment to treat the cancer but she cannot start the chemo until she has fully healed from her prior surgery. At this time the doctor's feel that chemo will allow for her to have a 100% cure rate currently. 

Due to her not being able to work for the next 3-6 months Team Tracy (TIE) Egert Beats Cancer would like to raise money to help assist with medical bills and living expenses for her while she is battling colon cancer. As a single parent raising a daughter without any income coming in I would like to raise some money for her while she goes thru Chemo so that she does not have to worry about making ends meet while fighting this battle with Cancer. 

While most of her needs during this time are financial, we as family are going to do what we can personally to ease this financial strain for her, but welcome any Family, Friends or Cancer Survivor's, or Charitable Hearts, that would be willing to donate to her unfortunate battle with Cancer.
