Tracy & Steve Fouchea Family

On Oct 19th Tracy was rushed to the hospital as she was largely unresponsive. The Doctors identified a very aggressive ‘super’ bacterial infection which had spread quickly throughout her body. Fortunately, it’s treatable, and Tracy has an undeniable spirit and drive to success. She spent a few weeks in ICU and has now progressed to a rehabilitation center in the hospital. It’s a lot of hard work and is exhausting her, but she’s a fighter. Her team of doctors are pleased at her progress, but continue to remind us, the infection was significant and healing is a marathon. There will be many days of little to no progress, and that’s normal.
Tracy is facing a lengthy hospitalization and rehabilitation. At this time, we expect she will remain in the hospital between 4-6 more weeks followed by recovery at home. She is not yet at the point of receiving visitors. Steven and Tracy have two beautiful daughters in middle school and are in the midst of moving to a new house in Spring Lake, MI. Steven has had to take time away from work to focus on Tracy and the girls. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers. This site is set up to defer some of the unexpected expenses the Fouchea family is now facing. Thank you ever so very much.
