I am Tracy.

I am a 40 year old mom of 6.

I own a small business.

In fact I own a salon where I do my best every day to make my clients feel beautiful and empowered.

I work in the beauty industry.

I love to laugh. And I love to smile. But lately I have not been smiling.

A broken tooth in the front of my mouth, among other things, have kept me from wanting to smile openly. Not to mention the pain from it.

A combination of bad genetics, health issues, missing enamel from an eating disorder when I was young, and growing up with limited dental care have caused a number of issues over the years.

I am currently still paying off my last major round of dental treatment from about 8 years ago but I am currently in need of a few fillings, 6 root canals and 7 crowns.

My dental insurance, like most, is a joke, and I have already nearly maxed my coverage out for the year.

The total to fix everything? $15,000, give or take.

Each tooth that needs major treatment will cost me between $1700 and $2600.

There are three currently causing me so much pain that it is hard to sleep at night.

I am not the kind to ask for help like this.

I want to work without pain. It's more than a vanity issue. My front tooth it at risk of breaking at any time.

My dental hygienist says I have excellent oral health, I just got dealt a bad hand.

100% of funds used will go right to the dentist office. As soon as I have enough to begin treatment on the teeth that hurt, I will be there. I will even be glad to post updates as it goes along.

As much as it will shame me to do so, I will post photos along the way, to include the initial estimate.

Why not a cheaper dentist?

I have gotten through a massive phobia of dentists and needles in the past, and this office is the one who has always made it possible. I have even managed to do quite a few things without nitrous at this point.
