Retirement Gift for Tracy Hessel Libby
Tax deductible
After 32 years at IDEXX, Tracy Hessel Libby will be retiring from her role as Procurement Manager for Chem/Bio. Her last day will be on November 5th, 2021.
Tracy began with the company in January 1989 in R&D New Product Development for canine and feline assays. At that time IDEXX was located on Fore Street in Portland and employed about 40 people and would not go public for 3 more years. She is a true pioneer for the business, working on some of the first point of care tests for Canine Heartworm Ag and Feline Parvo, FeLV and FIV for IDEXX. She was part of the launch of the first SNAPs in 1992 and has supported RA, LPD, Water, Dairy, and Reference Labs lines of business since her move to Supply Chain where she created the Chem/Bio category for Procurement. Her leadership and strong commitment to her team and IDEXX has resulted in strong relationships with our business partners and suppliers.
In her retirement, she plans to garden, hike, bike, sew, weave, knit, travel with her husband as well as care for ailing parents, and continue her work in the all-volunteer non-profit she founded in 2005 (Caring Resources for Living) in memory of her son. And maybe, just maybe, she will train for and complete and Ironman triathlon.
Please consider joining me in wishing her well by donating to her foundation!
