Tracy B. to cover her medical expenses!

Hi! My name is Tracy. I am a 52 year old Mom of 6 beautiful and handsome young adults. I married young and I always dreamed that I would be going to Hawaii for my 50th birthday….Well I never made it there! After being a stay at home mother for over 20 years, going back to graduate school to become a Counselor and carrying a 4.0 grade point average, I was finally taking time for myself! I even lost over 100 pounds in 6 months. I was truly happy but unfortunately everything came crashing down!

I was diagnosed with a life threatening brain tumor; Yes, a brain tumor. Talk about shocked!! I found on June 1st of 2012 and was told it was urgent that it comes out within 30 days. I am still suffering from the side effects of what was supposed to be a 4 hour surgery that turned into a 12 hour surgery with one of the top surgeons having to step out of his surgery to help my surgeon. I was diagnosed with a tumor called a meningioma. It is a Primary 1 type Brain tumor. This tumor is primarily benign, but benign does NOT equal fine! It depends on many factors. My tumor was a bad type of meningioma. It was skull based, wrapped around my optic nerve, a main blood artery, had infiltrated the cavernous sinuses…etc.

obviously I made it through but not really! I am still very ill. I now have Seizures and can’t drive anymore. Here is a list of all of my medically documented diagnoses; I am being so open and transparent as I know it isn’t easy to donate to someone you don’t know!

1. Brain tumor survivor/patient 2. Rheumatoid Arthritis,3. G6PD Deficiency, 4. Chiari Malformation 1 of the brain, 5. Chronic Anemia requiring transfusions 6. Bulging and ruptured discs in the cervical spine, 7. Sacro Iliac Joint Dysfunction. 8. Spinal bone spurs, 9. Dental problems; decay and missing teeth due to medical complications. I used to have beautiful teeth like in my picture but they look too horrible to show publicly. 10. Vitamin D Deficiency 11. Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome/Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy 12. Lymphedema

Despite having a top notch premium insurance plan, I still have all of these medical bills and in many places if you have an outstanding balance then you can’t make an appointment! I cannot eat a healthy diet if most of my money has to go to bills, like rent, medical bills, prescriptions, etc!

Please help me reach my goal so that I can get a goodnight’s sleep because I am not having to worry every minute of the day! I have worked hard to raise my children to be excellent citizens and to help others when they are able . I have helped families, donated to and helped run fundraising for families too.
