Tractor needed for large Animal Sanctuary

Pan Equus Animal Sanctuary (www.PEASbarn.org) is a 501(c)3 animal sanctuary located in Oxford, Michigan, providing a safe, loving, caring, lifelong home for abused, neglected, abandoned, and end-of-life farm animals. Along with over 100 large animals, we have a legion of hard-working and dedicated volunteers with no paid employees. Every day the PEAS volunteers medicate, clean, feed and groom our residents, as needed, without exception.

 

Recently our tractor experienced significant mechanical failure and is not reasonably repairable. Without a tractor, PEAS incurs substantial additional work and expense. We are hoping to raise funds to buy a reliable used tractor. A versatile tractor will allow us to handle cost-effective round bales of hay, dig much-needed water lines and electrical trenches, install fencing, pull wagons, move manure and sand, maintain roads and drives, and many other essential farm duties.
