Why I’m Raising Funds: For the Dogs, the Rangers, and the Wild

This isn’t about me. It’s about them.

I’m raising funds for two extraordinary causes:

K9 conservation teams in South Africa who protect endangered wildlife,

HAART Dog Rescue in the UK, who save and rehabilitate vulnerable dogs.

Every donation goes directly to these organizations—none of it supports my travel or personal costs. All funds will be split equally between them.

This will go towards:

FOOD FOR DOGS, CLOTHING, EQUIPMENT, FIRST AID FOR DOGS, WORMING, FLEA TREATMENTS, VACCINATIONS AND MORE...

I’ve been invited to return to South Africa with purpose—to walk beside those who dedicate their lives to protecting what is sacred. I’ll be listening, learning, and deepening my understanding of what it means to follow the instinct to protect.

While there, I’ll be sharing stories and reflections on my Facebook page—from walking with rangers and their dogs, to hands-on support for rescues, children’s nature education, and community healing through storytelling.

Dogs have always been my compass. They’ve helped heal me, guide me, and connect me to something deeper. This journey is about giving back—to the animals, the people, and the wild spaces that hold so much wisdom.

I believe in the power of paws, presence, and connection. In the quiet courage of those who protect what’s wild, and the healing bond between dogs and humans. If you do too, I invite you to walk beside me.
