Hi Friends and Family! We are always trying to find ways for Ethan to be more independent and just have fun living life. We have found something awesome that would open up his whole world. But we need some help.
Tavis was driving home from work one day and happened to see a trailer drive by with a logo for a company called Action TrackChair. Tavis has been looking at track chairs for Ethan for several years. Some of you may remember that he built a homemade one a couple summers ago, it is no longer working. Anyway, he flagged the guy down and made him pull over so he could talk to him. The guy is from Denver and has a camper out at the lake and said he would be out the weekend of July 4th and said he could bring one out. We went to see it on July 5th so Ethan could test drive it. We all thought it was the most awesome thing ever! Especially Ethan! The smiles alone made me want to get this thing on the spot! Priceless! One of the cool things about it is it stands him up which also stretches out his legs while he is mobile. So he’s getting physical therapy too! And it has a blade attachment. Ethan is super excited about being able to plow snow and dirt!
Here’s how you can help! This is a used machine, but the cost is still $8,500. Since it is not a medical necessity insurance won’t cover it. But we feel it is a necessity for Ethan to live his best life and do the things he wants to do...like help Dad at the job site. If you feel a desire to help us on this journey we would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for all the love and support!
