Tracie’s Fight against Cancer

Hi, my name is Arlissa, and I am fundraising for my sister-in-law Tracie Noel-Murray.

Tracie is a kind and gentle soul, a mother to two boys, a former nurse, a lover of animals, and so much more.

In December 2012, Tracie was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation and came out on the other side. Her strength and her ability to remain positive throughout her treatment was inspiring.

Unfortunately, cancer reared its ugly head again; in March 2020, Tracie was diagnosed with brain cancer. Shortly after, she was diagnosed with leptomeningeal carcinomatosis (cancer in the spinal fluid). Since March 2020, Tracie has undergone brain surgery, extensive chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and numerous other treatment modalities. Yet, she continues to amaze not only myself but everyone around her, including her physicians, with her strength, optimism, and resilience in this overwhelming battle.

As you can imagine, the last couple of years have taken a toll on Tracie and her family physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially.
