Breast Cancer Make-A-Wish Fund
Donation protected
Cancer sucks.
Meet Tracie, a truly kind and inspiring woman from the Mebane community.
Humble, brave, and caring -- she is a person who would refuse donations, because she would rather the money be spent on others. Beyond being a mother, friend, and local elementary school teacher, Tracie is a 46-year-old woman whose breast cancer was in remission, but recently recurred, spreading to her lungs, liver, spine, and now brain.
Stage-four.
She has two loving children, Noah Gerringer, a freshmen at Appalachian State University, and Drew Gerringer, a senior at North Carolina State University.
The money raised will be donated to Tracie and her sons, as a "Make-a-Wish" gesture to make modest wishes (e.g., fixing up the backyard, to create an oasis for Tracie) possible. Sometimes, the little things in life... are actually the big things. This is a surprise for Tracie and her two sons- so make sure you keep it a secret!
However, 20% of our proceeds will be donated to the National Breast Cancer foundation. Just $100 helps provide a mammogram for a woman in need!
Now, meet me: Kati.
My sister: Karyn.
My best friend and Tracie's son Noah's girlfriend: Hayley.
We want to raise money for our wonderful friend and his amazing mother. Our goal is to raise the money by May 8th, as a Mother's Day gift! Please help us Make-her-Wishes come true.
We would like to thank you so much; we cannot stress how much your donations would mean to us. However, if you cannot donate, prayers and positive thoughts would also be appreciated!

(But shhh... it's a Mother's Day surprise!)
