On Friday, Chris had to have a below-the-knew amputation due to complications from diabetes. He is still in the hospital, and will eventually be fitted for a prosthetic and have to go through rehab. He will be out of work for some time, which means living off one income (a teacher’s at that... we all know how much teachers make) while paying medical bills.
