Hi, I'm Cat. I received a text last night from my brother's only surviving child to let us know her mother is in a coma and based on the brain damage, it is unlikely that she will wake up. My niece has two young children and a husband. They don't earn a lot of money so paying the funeral home will be difficult for her. I just want to take as much of the burden off my niece as I can but I am nowhere near being able to gift her the entire amount.

My heart-sister has had a number of health issues during her life and the doctors have said that we will probably lose her very soon. So her daughter WILL be needing to take care of her mom's remains.

Please help if you can. I realize money is tight for everyone but maybe if enough of us donate we can take this one burden off my niece's shoulders.
