Hi everyone, as most of you know this year has been really hard for us. This whole year it seems just as things start to settle down, something else happens.
Recently I got really sick with an ear infection and ended up going to kaweah ER. They did not have a specialist to see me there so they transferred me to Kern Medical in Bakersfield. My infection reached to my bone. I was in the hospital for a few days. They put a PICC line in my arm and I'll be taking antibiotics through that for 6 weeks. Since it's a safety risk I have not been able to go back to work. I'm also unsure if I'll be able to go back before I get the PICC line out. My day to get it out is November 15th.
I have applied to many different benefits that I have been able to. It's been a long process and I haven't been able to be approved for anything yet. With having to miss so much work and going back and forth to different appointments it's been a big financial burden. I'm required to see a few different doctors. One of them is in Bakersfield and I'm supposed to see him weekly. Any money donated would be going to my car, gas to get back and forth from appointments, medical supplies and anything the kids would need.
Thank you to everyone, I appreciate you all.
