Hello, my name is Michael and I’m trying to raise money for my dog’s tracheal collapse surgery. Unfortunately, I don’t have the money to pay outright for this surgery and this is my last resort. In early may, my dog was diagnosed with severe tracheal collapse and was taken to the emergency vet for an overnight stay and treatment. That took quite the pretty penny from my family as it was a 1900 dollar bill upfront. Just last week, we had to unfortunately take him there again as he was close to dying from lack of oxygen. That took another 1400 from my family and now we’re dangerously close to running out of money and can’t afford another episode like this which means we would have to put him down if it got as bad as it did again. That is why I’m asking for anything to try to get my dog this surgery. They would surgically place a stent in his throat to hold up his trachea allowing him to live a normal life again and breathe as he should.
