Tracey’s Spencers road to Lahden Germany
Don protégé
Hi my name is Tracey, I was born with bilateral tallopies and a rare muscle condition call anterior horn disease which affects the strength in my muscles in my whole body.
I Started horse riding with Riding for the disabled at the age of 4 for physiotherapy. The time I spend with my horses is so valuable it gives me and outlet from the stresses of my life. Horses mean the world to me they capture your soul and enhance your wellbeing.
Won many awards competing ridden dressage at regional and National level, winning the Astor trophy on three ditterent horses.
Took up Carriage Driving 12 years ago.
Won beginners, novice, open, Rda in my first 3 years competing.
Always wanted to compete for Great Britain and in 2023, 1 competed in Exloo this was my first World Championships.
I am a career for adults with learning disabilities which is a very stressful job caring for these young people.
I have two children and two grandchildren who all enjoy my horses. My pony Bill gives drives to disabled Rda clients.
I am hoping to be selected to go to Larden in Germany in September but first I need to raise funds to help me prepare for selection, which will include Training, Competitions and three selection events. Sandringham, Cricklands and Glebe these event are very costly. Any help that you may be able to give would be greatly received.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
