Tracey’s fight
Donation protected
Hi my name is Samantha, and my best friend’s mom is going through something no one should go through.
Tracey was diagnosed with AML with FLT3 mutation in November of 2021 - which is a very aggressive and stubborn form of Luekiema. This diagnosis was completely unexpected and has been a emotional, mental, physical and financial burden on her and her two girls - yet you'll never find them asking for help or complaining.
Since diagnosis Tracey has spent 4 weeks at Cooper and with chemotherapy was able to reach remission, but relapsed just a short 17 days later. Since November, her and her girls have been on a roller coaster of a ride - with additional hospital stays, biweekly trips to Camden for transfusions and doctor appointments from one end of NJ to the either, insurance issues, daily chemotherapy and all the side effects to come along with it they never complain and take each day as it comes.
On August 25th Tracey was FINALLY stable enough and received an unrelated bone marrow transplant - where she responded very well and discharged less then a few weeks later. Unfortunately she has developed GVHD which is a common but severe side effect of the Bone marrow transplant and needs to be readmitted to Robert Wood Johnson for an unknown period of time.
All that know Tracey, Tiffany and Lorissa know they are typically the ones to help and give to others. Their positivity has gotten them through this journey for almost a year but now with the future unknown, I'm hoping this gofund me will lighten the financial impact for them.
Any help will remind them they aren't alone in this fight.. I know they will be appreciative of any bit including shares.
