Support Tracey Wilkie: Eviction and Debt Relief
Donation protected
Hey there, folks! I'd like to take a moment to chat with you about someone incredibly special in our community, Tracey Wilkie. She is a community caregiver, activist, and Indigenous culture bearer who holds invaluable knowledge and traditions that have been passed down for generations. Tracey is a beloved figure around here, always willing to share her insights, experiences, and frybread! She has helped provide thousands of free meals to community members in need and always speaks up for what's right. She's a friend, an ally, and an Auntie to all. But here's the thing – right now, Tracey needs our help. Due to a series of misfortunes, our beloved community member was evicted from her home and has incurred more debt than she can manage on her own. We have an amazing opportunity to give back to someone who has given so much to us. Let's come together as a tight-knit community and lend her a hand!
We are asking for help raising funds for legals fees, payments owed to Goldmark properties, and paying back personal loans to her father and a trusted ally. Any remaining funds will help Tracey pay for a deposit and first month's rent on a new apartment. Miigwech/thank you for taking the time to read and share this fundraiser!
