On Saturday, September 27, my big brother Tracey, my best friend, and one of the best men you could ever meet, was in a terrible head-on car accident when another driver ran a stop sign. He was care-flighted to Medical City Denton, where he had several surgeries. He broke his femur, which required a rod and some screws in his hip/knee, had 3 surgeries on his ankle, and broken ribs that will take time to heal, along with a concussion he still hasn’t healed from.

There’s a long road to go for him.

We are so thankful that God saved him that night; there is no doubt in our hearts that we could have lost him.

If you know him, you know he’s one of a kind. He has a huge heart, is always willing to help anyone in need, and would literally give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar. He can be an absolute pain if you know him, but you can’t help but love him.

Tracey doesn’t have any insurance, and between the medical bills, legal fees, therapy, and being out of work, this is going to be a very heavy burden.
