Dear friends and family
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our beloved mother's passing due to a rare and aggressive form of bladder cancer. This devastating journey robbed us of precious time with her, and we are left grappling with the pain of her absence.
Throughout her illness, our family faced numerous challenges. The staff at Long Beach Memorial Hospital failed to provide her with an interpreter when she was initially diagnosed, leaving her voice unheard and her needs unmet. As a family, we fought tirelessly to ensure she received the proper tests and care she deserved. It wasn't until we changed hospitals that we discovered the harsh reality: this cancer was aggressively and rapidly spreading throughout her body.
Within just a year, our dear mother's health declined rapidly, leaving us all devastated. The financial burden became overwhelming as her illness caused her insurance to lapse, making it impossible for us to secure the proper care she desperately needed. Now, as we grieve this profound loss, we are faced with the daunting task of arranging her final resting place alongside our father.
In this time of sorrow and reflection, we humbly reach out to you, our extended family, friends, and anyone whose heart is touched by our story. We are asking for your support, both emotionally and financially, to help us give our mother the dignified farewell she deserves. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference in lightening our burden during this incredibly trying period.
Your kindness will not only help us cover the costs of laying her to rest beside our father but will also serve as a testament to the love and unity that surrounds us. We believe in the power of community, in the strength of coming together to support one another in times of need.
Please consider donating to our GoFundMe campaign as we honor our mother's memory and provide her with the peace she deserves. Your thoughts, prayers, and contributions will forever be etched in our hearts, helping us heal and find solace in knowing that we are not alone in this journey.
With heartfelt gratitude,
