Urgent: Help Save Tracey’s Life
Donation protected

In February, Tracey was diagnosed with a very rare and life-threatening disease known as calciphylaxis. Most cases of calciphylaxis are associated with chronic kidney failure. This disease affects approximately 1% to 4% of dialysis patients. Tracey Fleet is one of those patients.
Calciphylaxis is a very painful condition. Tracey is on extremely heavy medication as a large portion of her body is covered with open wounds. These wounds are not healing. If left untreated, the infected wounds will cause sepsis and, ultimately, death.
This disease has a dismal prognosis with up to 80% mortality rate. Most patients with this horrendous disease will succumb within six months. We do not want Tracey to be another statistic.
Tracey’s condition is now dire. She needs to be flown to Toronto General Hospital in Ontario to save her life. She is currently on the wait list to receive hyperbaric oxygen therapy. It is hoped that once her body is flooded with oxygen, the wounds will begin to heal. If she does not receive the treatment, the disease will continue to overtake Tracey’s body.
Tracey has been bedridden since January. She and her husband, John, are going through an emotionally and financially devastating time. Sickness does not discriminate. Tracey and John are facing an uncertain future and they need help.
Please consider contributing to Tracey’s campaign. All funds raised will go toward Tracey’s life-saving medical trip and the everyday living expenses they are incurring.
Please donate if you can. No donation is too small. If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser. Together we can help.
Many thanks to all.
