Tracey believes faith in the face of illness.

On June 2, 2025 Tracey was taken to the hospital due to severe illness. Then on June 3 they went in for an emergency surgery where they found two blockages in her large intestines. During the surgery they had to remove her appendix to be able to reach her intestines. While they were in surgery they also had to remove a part of her colon, which tested positive for stage three colon cancer. During that surgery they also had to perform a colostomy. When closing they also repaired 6 hernias. This surgery took a total of seven hours.
On June 8, 2025 they were told she would be able to go home tomorrow. On the morning of June 9th, the wound care nurses came in to make sure everything was looking good, but they had found that the colostomy was retracting. They took pictures and sent them to the surgeon who reported that she would have to go in for another emergency surgery to reverse the colostomy and instead put in a ileostomy. She went into her second emergency surgery which lasted four hours.
Now that she is home she is having to have two wounds packed by home health and her husband Lance. Since at home she is battling in infection, and cannot get her port in or begin chemo until the infection is gone.
If you can help Tracey and her family it would be amazing and much appreciated! They have to travel an hour to Tulsa several times a month. Which costs turnpike and gas money. She is currently on temp disability and is only bringing in approximately 1/3 of her income, and they are quickly being overwhelmed financially. If you cannot help the family financially they believe that prayer by far outweighs money. Thank you so much for your help.
