Our dear friends, Tracey and Adrien, are facing an incredibly difficult chapter in their lives and urgently need our support. After an exhausting battle with cancer, their mother recently suffered a devastating fall, leaving her incapacitated and under the care of a skilled nursing facility.

Tracey, who is fortunate to work remotely, has been spending extended time at her mother’s home in Texas, ensuring she can be there to manage her mother’s healthcare and home while her mother receives skilled nursing care. Meanwhile, Adrien, whose job does not offer the same flexibility, has been making the long trip from Houston to the Bastrop area whenever her limited days off allow.

Beyond the emotional and physical toll, they are now burdened with overwhelming medical expenses, extensive travel costs, and urgent home repairs. Their mother’s declining health made it impossible for her to keep up with home maintenance, leading to severe disrepair—so much so that essential services like water, sewage, and electricity had to be restored before Tracey and Adrien could even stay there with basic comfort. Additionally, the responsibility of caring for their mother’s beloved horses and cats has added another heavy financial strain.
