New Beginning After Losing Home
Donation protected
My parents, Lafon and Katherine Lane, recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Over those years together, their family has grown from having two sons, my brother (Chris) and me, to now include two daughter-in-laws and four grandchildren. After reaching this signigicant milestone in their life together, they are now at a point where they have to start things over from the begining.
Many years ago my brother and I helped my parents build their beautiful home. After several years of fighting to save all they have worked for, they will find themselves homeless after May 12, 2015. They have worked out a temporary housing solution. In the meantime, they are exploring other options to allow them to have a new place to call their own.
One of my favorite Bible verses comes from Matthew 7:7-12, "Ask and it it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
Lafon and Katherine Lane are two of the most honest, hard working, and beautiful people that I know. They would never ask for this help for themselves, but I shall ask and seek for the help they need. In life, you never know what you may be given, what support you might find, or what opprotunities could present themselves if you don't ask.
They are thankful for anything that you can do and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they start this new part of their lives.
