Update: My Mom is stage 3 lung cancer. She will have to travel to Marquette 5 days a week for Chemo and Radiation for 6 or 7 weeks. Fallowed by a year of immunotherapy. The cure rate nowadays is 50/50 but we are hopeful.

I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but our family could really use some help right now. My mom was recently diagnosed with lung cancer, and not long after that, we found out she’s actually battling two different cancers. It’s been a lot to process, and everything has happened so fast.

Because of her diagnosis and the treatments she needs, my mom isn’t able to work right now. Between doctor visits, treatments, and just trying to get through each day, working isn’t an option but the bills and everyday expenses don’t stop. My mom has been the main financial support for our family, while my dad is on disability after suffering strokes. Now that my mom is battling cancer, we are facing overwhelming medical and living expenses. I started this GoFundMe to help take some of that stress off her so she can focus on her health and healing instead of worrying about money. The funds will go toward medical expenses and basic living costs while she’s unable to work.
