Julie’s Journey with Breast Cancer

My mom is currently battling breast cancer & preparing for a bilateral mastectomy. In the words of her sister, “she has the least, but she gives the most.”

Before having been diagnosed, my mother worked as a caregiver, both for members of her community and for her family. My mom, Julie, has never been one to ask or want for anything, she only knows to do for & give to others.

Since my mom was diagnosed, she regularly has two different types of strong chemo coursing through her system, leaving her in pain & unable to work.

As you can imagine on top of the physical pain she’s going through, it also hurts her to not be capable of doing what she loves and to help provide for her family.

As bills keep flowing in, I can’t idly sit aside watching my mom stress about finances instead of using all her strength & energy she has to stay strong & positive in this fight.

This is why I’m asking on behalf of her for help. Whether it be through donation, sharing this link, or positive wishes & thoughts.
