Hi, I'm here in hopes of helping a dear friend who has been through enough already! Here's her story:
Michele has spent her entire life helping others — people, children, and animals alike. She earned her master’s degree in Child Development because she wanted to dedicate her life to care and compassion for children from all walks of life.
She has spent years helping and teaching children of all ages to grow and learn.
She also spent years driving countless miles as an animal transport driver to make sure abandoned, fostered, and adopted pets reached their new homes safely. If someone needed help, Michele was always the first one there.
But when her own family needed her, Michele gave the biggest sacrifice of her life. She was asked to move in and become her mother’s full-time caregiver. Out of love, loyalty, and trust, Michele gave up the home she had lived in for over 20 years. She left her job, her routine, and her entire life behind to take care of her mother.
What happened next is something no one deserves.
False accusations were made — sudden, devastating, and completely untrue. But they were believed. Overnight, Michele lost everything: her home, her belongings, her financial security, and the family connection she had sacrificed so much for. The emotional toll was so severe it made her physically sick. She was hospitalized for 12 days, and when she was released, she had nowhere to go.
Michele lived in her car for nearly a year.
This is a real-life horror story for someone who has only ever shown kindness.
And the nightmare didn’t stop there. Pets she loved and cared for were taken from her or left behind. The heartbreak of that loss is something she will carry forever.
Despite everything, Michele kept fighting. She found an apartment. She worked to rebuild from nothing. She stayed hopeful.
Then came the next blow.
Michele was recently diagnosed with M.A.S.H. (Metabolic Associated Steatohepatitis) — a serious, chronic liver condition. Just three weeks ago, she underwent knee surgery, and her recovery has been slow and painful. She physically cannot work until her doctor clears her, which likely won’t be until January when she starts a new job.
After everything she has survived, Michele is now on the edge of losing the home she just fought so hard to get.
She has no income until January. Her savings are gone. Bills are piling up. And she is terrified of slipping back into homelessness while she is still recovering from surgery and learning how to manage a new, lifelong medical condition.
Michele has always been the one who saves others — children, seniors, animals, anyone who needed a lifeline.
Now she needs one.
This fundraiser is urgently needed to help Michele:
Keep her apartment
Cover her rent and basic bills
Buy groceries and medication
Continue healing from knee surgery
Stay safe and stable until she begins her new job in January.
She is so close. She just needs help to get through these last few impossible months so she can finally rebuild the life she lost.
If you can donate — even a few dollars — you will be giving Michele something she hasn’t felt in a long time: safety, hope, and a chance. Michele really needs our help. She's the sweetest, kindest, and most lovable person I've personally ever met!
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping Michele in the darkest chapter of her life. I know times are extremely difficult for everyone. All I'm asking is if you can't spare a few dollars, say a prayer for her, please. Everything counts as human kindness.
Blessings.
