Dear friends, family and compassionate strangers, we find ourselves reaching out in a time of immense hardship and loss. Our parents, Jim & Janice Mitchell of Reedsburg Wisconsin lives were shattered by a devastating fire that ravaged their home leaving them without a roof over their heads, cherished memories turned to ashes and a profound sense of despair. On 23 May 2023, the flames spread rapidly, engulfing everything they held dear. While we are forever grateful for those who have assisted us at this time, the emotional toll and material loss are immeasurable.
The fire has left them in a state of utter disbelief. The destruction is extensive rendering the dwelling uninhabitable. In addition to the emotional trauma, they face overwhelming financial burdens. The funds we seek through this campaign will go towards finding them a new place to call home, replacing basic essentials such as clothing, furniture, and appliances as well as covering costs for temporary accommodations.
Rebuilding their lives from ashes will be an arduous task, but with your generous support, they can regain some sense of stability and create a new beginning. Your donations, no matter the size, will have a profound impact on their ability to recover from this devastating loss.
