Sar Shalom Building Fund

Donation protected
Kehilat Sar Shalom is a Messianic Congregation with a problem. The city of Saint Paul, Minnesota's appointed taskforce has voted to remove the parking in front of our building on Cleveland Avenue in favor of bike lanes.  This will remove  the parking closest to our buildings main entrances.  These parking spots are typically used by the most vulnerable of our congregation, those who are physically challenged, the elderly, as well as access for metro mobility.

Without parking those who cannot walk long distances will be unable to attend services.  This leaves  Sar Shalom with no alternative but to find a new building before the city removes the parking in the spring.   While the city of Saint Paul seems not to care about the right of the elderly to be able to gather to worship in the place of their choosing, we must.  We refuse to allow these dear ones to lose their place of worship.

This all happened suddenly and we are short of the funds needed to make this change - couple that with the fact that the loss of parking will make it harder to sell our current building, you can understand our dilemma.  So we are asking if can you help with a tax deductable donation to our building fund?  We are still in need of over $100,000.  Help us keep our congregation intact and insure that the first amendment rights of the elderly.

Thank you in advance for you help and may God Bless you.
