Before my surgery, I was walking with my left leg. On 11-26-25, I went to the hospital to have a spinal fusion L4-S1. Ever since the surgery, my life has been completely destroyed. On 11-27-25, physical therapy came to see me in my room, had me stand up, and that is when my left leg just kept buckling. Then, on 11-29-25, physical therapy was back to see me again and wanted me to get out of bed into the recliner. I asked them how they expected me to walk when both of my legs were burning and numb below the knee. They forced me to try, and when I tried, I twisted my left ankle, and the hospital brushed off the injury. Then, on 12-2-25, I fell out of bed, hurting both of my hips, tailbone, and both of my knees. I was not able to reach the call bell, but I was on the phone luckily when it happened, and my buddy called the hospital to let them know I fell out of bed. There was no bed alarm hooked up to the bed. They had my door shut, and after my buddy called the hospital, people came running into the room. I was on a backboard and had a neck collar around my neck.

I am hoping I can get some assistance as I have been in a bed basically since 11-26-25, out of bed one time at a nursing home to go to an appointment in a wheelchair. When I got to my appointment, I was almost out of the wheelchair and on the ground due to not being strapped in. Right now, no one knows how long my legs are going to be numb and burning or if I will ever walk again or be wheelchair-bound for the rest of my life. I am currently stuck in the hospital as I am not able to find a nursing home to accept me. I am being told the reason is I am now homeless. The donations will go towards helping me find a place after nursing home and any other expenses. Any and all donations are very much appreciated. All the money raised will go towards helping me recover to get a wheelchair, a place to live after rehab or anything else I will need during my recovery. If you don't want to donate via gofundme you can send to my cashapp: $allen122081 or my venmo: @allen122081. Then I will get the full donation. The only way I get the full donation via gofundme is if the person making the donation pays the fee otherwise it comes out of the donation. For an example if you donate $25 I will get $23.97 if the fee is not paid. Gofundme charges 2.9% + .30 per transaction.
