Hi, my name is Barbara. I’m Leah’s youngest sister. I’ve set up this fund in order to help with the very sudden, unexpected death of my sister, with costs of cremation, celebration of life, and any other costs for medical treatment that she was given.

To me, my sister Leah was my hero. She was the one person on this planet I loved more than anyone else. She was my best friend growing up, and we went through some of the best and worst times together. For those who knew my sister, she was known for being a very loud and outgoing person. She was the one to laugh the loudest in the room, the one to try to make it as fun as possible. Leah was known to be a leader in high school, and many of her peers looked up to her and adored her.

Leah's death could have been avoided if the officers responded to her health concerns the night before she passed. We’re also trying to raise money to be able to afford lawyers for gross negligence of health. She was in a medical emergency and was ignored. She deserved more; she deserved the help. She was only 24. She deserves justice.
