Thank you to everyone that shared and donated towards Charlie’s care.

Charlie passed this evening 06/20/2025 around 8pm.

The veterinarian concluded that Charlie’s symptoms reflected those associated with heart failure.

Due to the severity of his condition it was determined that ongoing testing would’ve prolonged his pain and suffering. 

Charlie had excessive amounts of fluid in the entirety of his abdomen, so much so it was restricting his ability to breathe, eat, move and pass food and other bodily fluids. 

I’m trying to give myself grace in this moment but I am devastated and crippled with the would’ve - should’ve - could’ve’s.

This dog provided me with so much comfort and joy over the last 5 years, I couldn’t have asked for a better dog. 

I’ll leave this open for a few more days incase anyone else wants to donate towards the costs associated with his passing.
