Laying Angel to Rest

We are here with a heavy heart as we start the process to lay Angel to rest.

Angel was a loving father, brother, son, and friend. Yesterday morning we received the horrible call that Angel had passed away. What we want everyone to know and remember is that Angel was strong and wanted to get clean for Ember and himself. He was bettering himself more and more each time we saw him. For a while we had our old Angel back. He was on the path to success, and we were loving seeing him succeed. He had a drive that had not been seen in him in years. He was motivated to stay on the right path and genuinely optimistic about what his future held. Angel fought his addiction silently for as long as he could but eventually, he knew he needed help. There were setbacks and a lot of hard talks but finally we were able to get him the help he needed. He really had turned a corner and was thriving in a sober living facility, but addiction is cruel, and one mistake took him away from us far too soon. Do not let this define who he was in your minds. Angel was an amazing man with the biggest heart, and we will miss him every single day.

We come here now to ask for any donations to help go towards his funeral expenses. Anything you can spare would be appreciated. Anything left over will go to his beautiful daughter Ember.
