The charity is dedicated to providing specialist mesothelioma information, research, support and education, and to improving care and treatment for all UK mesothelioma patients and their carers.

My dad was diagnosed with Mesothelioma in September which is an incurable, aggressive and rare cancer caused by asbestos and can live dormant for years, the right treatment and funding will give him and many other people with mesothelioma a prolonged life and hopefully live well beyond the stats!!

By raising these funds I’m hoping it will help towards research into more options to treat and cure the cancer and raise more awareness to this very rare cancer!

I started running last April and the furthest I’ve ran is 10k but now I have the motivation to push myself and reach that goal of a half marathon for Parko and all other sufferers of mesothelioma!
