Ray Hoogendoorn and his wife Linda of 39 years, left on a clear and lovely morning on Saturday, September 12th  2015 . They left to visit family down in Manteca. Little did they know that this normal Saturday would turn into a nightmare. The fire raced through their neighborhood that night. Since they left for the day, they had no oppurtunity to evacuate anything, losing their house, their car and more importantly decades of memories and family keepsakes. 
I have had the opportunity to work with Ray for part of his 34 years at PG&E and he is one of the friendliest, kindest, and most humble guys I know. I know those of you who know him will agree.
