Helping Sam

My friend Sam got assaulted a week ago trying to get home from downtown Chicago. He got robbed and left with some really bad injuries.  He ended up getting surgery to repair the fractures in his jaw. 

He is doing better but has a long recovery. He currently has his mouth sealed and it will remain that way for 4-5weeks. 

He will have to get a couple future procedures to make sure everything is corrected and fixed properly.

He has had a great support from his friends and family and have kept his spirits up. Even though he can't smile. 

But he will be losing his wages because he literally can't work. Sam is a bartender by trade but because of his injuries he isn't able to go into work nor should he due to the severity of the fractures. 

So I'm setting up this go fund me on his & his families behalf to alleviate the stress of  loss of wages, future medical bills, and overall just hope he doesn't try to come back too early before he get's a clean bill of health. 

For those that know him you know he's too proud to ask and probably going to get annoyed that I did this but let's help him get better. Anything would help so let's help him and his family.
