Hi, my name is Stephanie Pare, and I’m in 3rd year Neuroscience and Biology at Carleton University.

My dad, Benny, tragically passed away in a fire at his workplace. He was not only my greatest supporter but also the person who worked endlessly to give us, his children, a better future. My parents lived apart for many years—he sacrificed time with my mom and family to work away from home so he could provide for our needs and wants. He was deeply loved by many, known for his hard work, generosity, and heart of gold.

Since my dad’s passing, I’ve lost the financial support that allowed me to study and live here in Canada as an international student. I’m hoping to raise enough funds to continue my education in his honour and make him proud.
