Help a Dedicated Teacher Overcome Cancer

My wife (31) and I (34) have been together for 10 wonderful years, but last month on her birthday, after what was expected and intended to be a routine check-up, we received the diagnosis that she has Type 1 Endometrial Cancer.

She has been a pre-school and elementary teacher for twelve years now, and despite her passionate love for childcare and enrichment, we were told the devastating news that the most efficient and effective means of protecting her is a full hysterectomy.

Her surgery is scheduled for March 6th, 2025, and while we have some support from family, I will still be her sole caretaker and provider for a minimum of 6 weeks, barring any difficulties that may arise.

Insurance has not responded to our requests for a quote or even given pre-approval, and time is approaching fast. All we have at the moment is a general number for what it might cost, and even that feels uncertain and daunting.
