For the family of Zane Maulden
I’ve been friends with Tara for many years. She’s always been the friend to help out even strangers when in need , she adopts family at Christmas, even if she can’t afford it ! That’s how big this girls heart is and deserves the world. Now that her world has been crushed, Her work family got together in creating this hoping to help with the Financial needs that she is going through even a little bit goes a long way
In a recent tragic accident, Zane was sadly taken far too young. Originally from Texas, Zane visited Halifax, Canada in 2019 after meeting a lady online and having to meet her in person. Zane and Tara had an instant connection and knew they had found their soul mate. He returned in Feb. of 2020 unaware as the rest of us as to how much life would change the following month. In March, Halifax went on lock down due to Covid and Tara’s work like many others, was closed. Zane was unable to return home and likely they both felt like they won the lotto with an extended stay.
He had became her rock, her strength and together they shined brighter than the sun. Tara’s work was reopened and in early Oct. and the amazing couple announced they were getting married by the end of the month. It was an amazing intimate ceremony and the love that Zane had for Tara lit the entire room with his glow looking at his family. Zane had already adapted to the new life with youngsters and was a natural dad from day one. In Feb. he stepped up when Tara had to take time off from work and have hernia repair surgery which was later found out to not have been successful and needs to be repeated in the future. Zane was a full time staple in their everyday, and provided a huge relief for Tara as she knew her children were in good hands while she was working. It also relieved the burden of child care, especially during these difficult times so Tara being a strong woman that does whatever is needed to take care of her family, went back to work the beginning of April despite still struggling with her health. The 3rd wave of Covid then closed her work again and remains closed at this time.
Zanes death leaves his widow Tara to raise 3 children under the age of 8 alone, one of which suffers from Celiac disease. This campaign will help with medical bills incurred as Zane is not covered by our health care, the arrangements to have him returned to Texas, childcare and to help Tara provide for her family during challenging economic times. All funds go directly to Tara and her family and will hopefully allow her to mourn and grieve without having to worry about a financial burden.
No donation or effort is too small; sharing this campaign supports and helps greatly also.
