TPU Family Out Reach
Donation protected
Patricia Del Bosque is a wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. We first met her on the baseball field where we all gathered to participate in the love of the game. Her son "Rey Rey", who then was 8 years old, captures the stands every time he's on the field. Not always because of his skills on the field but most often because his grace and optimism, his ability to lift others as he carries himself as a "giant" and is all of 54" tall or less. It's not always about the games and here's where baseball takes it's true meaning ... Baseball is about each other. Families spend quality time together on and off the field. We watch our children grow and achieve goals as we develop and grow together. This is why we have chosen to REACH OUT on her behalf.
Patricia (Patty for those that know her) is in great need of prayer and support. About 5 years ago she began to feel ill and doctors began to try and help her. After many trials she was made aware that she would need a liver transplant. She, like many of us, wanted what we all live for, a quality life in abundance. She received a liver transplant that year and every year since then she has faced mountains that many us can never imagine.
She is a SURVIVOR and now finds herself in a more challenging situation. She has been in the hospital for 2 months and was released just 7 days ago but unfortunately she returned to the hospital late last night. Her prognosis is complicated and the doctors have scheduled for yet another procedure late today or tomorrow.
We have spoken to both Patty and Mondo and have decided that the best way to help her and her family would be to have an out reach through Texas Pro United Baseball Academy. The goal is to make provisions for one of the most difficult times of her life and aide in the recovery. The bills keep coming, Mondo continues to work as he commutes back and forth. Her mother and mother-in- law travel back and forth to help. Her son Rey Rey is by her side daily (even sleeps at the hospital with her). We know that God has given us fertile ground and that this platform is to used for more than baseball. She is a liver transplant survivor and unlike many women I know. Rey Rey's contagious and infectious spirit stems from the heart of his mother. If given the opportunity to know her you would likely walk away and never know the trails that she has overcome.
We can all make a difference and together as a family should come together in times of needs. Help us to change lives and build this family up.
You can donate now and all proceeds will go to Patricia ad Mondo's account for their personal use.
