My name is Lisa Michele, my mother is Vicki Mae. She is currently in the hospital with Covid pneumonia and is on a BiPap machine they have given her a 5% chance of survival. She is a Breast cancer survivor, she has a defibrillator and is in early kidney and liver failure. Along with these already difficult health issues now she has a blood infection and is septic with oxygen leaking into her chest cavity. She is alone because the hospital she is in will only let us visit for 15-30 minutes one time and then we can not come back for 14 days. The only time we will be allowed in the room with her to hold her hand and tell her how much we love her is at end of life. We are fortunate to have an amazing nurse with her that takes the time to let us Facetime with her once a day. We are praying for a miracle. I would like to be able to take some of the financial burden off my dad, and my mom. I want them to know they are loved and cared for, I want for them to know whatever the outcome they will not be hurting with medical and/or funeral cost. My mother spent her 62 nd birthday in the hospital this year fighting for her life against this disease. My mother is exhausted and scared but has told us that she wants to continue to fight to the end. Please if you can find it in your heart to help even if it is just to pray for her and us do so.
