On December 1st, 2021 TPR Brian DeHaven was on I-270 South bound in Maryland conducting a routine traffic stop. While outside of his vehicle he was struck by an individual that veered into the left hand shoulder, pushing his cruiser forward into him and dragging him underneath for approx. 10 feet. He was then rushed to the hospital were they concluded he had suffered a fracture pelvis, laceration to his liver, broken ribs, small puncture to his right lung, multiple fractures to his vertebra, and multiple abrasions sustained from being dragged along the highway. Although these injuries were not life threatening they are absolutely, 100% life changing. He has to relearn how to walk and adjust his way of living while his injuries heal. He is currently unable to work and will have to undergo rehabilitation. In an effort to help him and his family with medical and daily living expenses while he is in rehabilitation we are asking for your help. We cannot thank everyone enough already for all of the prayers and support they have sent to him! As he continues to work towards being "normal" again, we will keep everyone updated. Again, thank you all so much for all of your love, prayers, and support!
