Hello Everyone,
I have been coordinating with Denison over the past several months to plant a tree on campus in memory of Lindsay. I wanted there to be a memorial on campus to immortalize the love and friendship that she shared while she was there.
I have worked out that the tree will be an American Hornbeam and be planted right outside of Slayter near Talbot, a perfect place for people to rest and enjoy the shade.
The plaque beneath the tree will read:
In Loving Memory of Lindsay Gund:
A warm, selfless and compassionate friend who touched the lives of so many. She will forever be imprinted on our hearts.
1988-2010
(Class of 2010)
I am making this page to raise the $1,500 that Denison needs in order to plant and maintain the tree for five years.
Please donate anything you feel comfortable. They are ideally planting the tree in April so I would love to raise the funds by the end of March.
