Hello, this is my girl Cerina. She loves to run, jump, roughhouse, travel/car rides, swim (sometimes lol), and go on hikes. She is the sweetest girl, as you can tell by her pictures! Unfortunately, this has had to stop on and off for the last couple of months due to her limping. Within the last 3 weeks, she has progressively gotten worse. She went to her primary vet on 8/19, where they determined she may have a cranial cruciate ligament tear. They suggested orthopedic surgeons, and she had that appointment today, 9/4. They determined she most definitely has a complete tear due to cranial cruciate disease. Also, her being overweight has contributed to this problem. Due to me having her relax on and off for months and then completely cease play due to the progressive nature of her injury, she has gained weight. The doctor has told me this needs to be done sooner rather than later, as most of us know the average person does not have $6,100-$6,900 lying around. The doctor has said it’s guaranteed the other knee will go, but that is a worry for another time. Right now, she needs this surgery. She is not even 2 years old. Please consider helping me get my baby this surgery so she can get back to life. She is so sad being stuck indoors and being forced not to do much.
