Please Help Heather!

Hi all, I'm Nikki, a friend of Heather's that wants to help raise money for her, her husband, and her stepson. Heather had a brain tumor removed on March 31st. The tumor was a Right Tentorial Leaflet Meningioma. It was a decent size, 35mm, and was pushing on her balance center and cerebellum.

The tumor was removed entirely on March 31st. She was to be in ICU for two days before going to a room on the Nureo floor, then to a rehab unit. But Heater was in ICU for TWO whole weeks with many complications.

Heather is now in rehab, but it's going much slower than expected. Heather is struggling mentally and physically while in recovery and will be there much longer than expected.

Heather's family is a two-income family, like many of us, and this brain tumor was utterly unexpected, so there was little planning or prep time. This all took place within a matter of a few weeks. This is and will continue to put a financial strain on this family.

We pray daily for a full recovery! My goal is to raise a minimum of $5,000, but if we can extend beyond that, every dollar will help them now and in the future. We aren't sure what that will look like for Heather right now.
