John & Vicki Stephens - Show the love

We have created this GoFundMe for a dear friend of ours, Vicki.  Many of you know, she recently lost her husband of over 40 years to Covid after a more than month-long stay in the hospital.  To make matters worse, she is unsure of just how long she will be able to stay in their house due to her financial situation, and her car is unreliable.  Bills keep showing up and she needs some help.  She shouldn't have to think about selling their house to make ends meet.  We want to raise some money for her so she has some breathing room to make decisions about the house and can purchase a reliable car. 

On Tuesday, November 9, Covid stole John from Vicki and all of us. John and Vicki are the most generous and kind people I know, they would give the shirt off their backs to a stranger. They probably did at one point. Generous with their time, their money, their kindness, all anyone had to do was mention a need and they stepped up. We were all at the receiving end of their kindness in our lives. John always said, "Treat people with love and respect." 

 

At this time of grief we all ask, "what can I do?" and "how can I help?" This is just one way of helping. If you have the means, please contribute anything you can. The last thing Vicki needs right now is to have to worry about money. Let's show our love!!
