Highlander Hawks Basketball

The Highlander Hawks had a very successful season winning the RI Coastal Prep League championship in 2018. As we prepare for this year we are expanding our program to offer both JV and Varsity basketball for our students. Offering the opportunity to be part of a team to more students comes with an increased expense. The benefits to our student body however are immeasurable. To help curb this expense, I will personally coach both teams. Our biggest expense will be transportation as we will have to contract a larger bus to transport our teams to away games. An additional expense will be referees for the JV games. I will personally do everything I can to make sure that we are able to offer two teams this year. 

A donation made to this project will directly impact Highlander students by providing them with the opportunity to participate in practices, games, and team building activities that will support life long learning lessons such as team work, cooperation, time management, leadership skills, and a healthy lifestyle.
