A Mother's Heart

This GoFundMe page is being created on behalf of our daughter-in-law and sister-in-law, Maskela Landy. She's a loving wife and mother of 3. As many of you already know, her husband Justin recently had both of his kidneys removed due to cancer. The consistent need for dialysis has put a physical toll on his body, making it impossible for him to work full-time. On Good Friday, April 18, her life was turned upside down. She had a stroke that left her left side immobile, and during her MRI the doctors discovered she also has a hole in her heart. She will be flying to the United States soon to have surgery on her heart. Her unpaid recovery time will be very long after her heart surgery and the physiotherapy she will need to restore her mobility.

 

 

 

This change of events has put a mental toll on this family in addition to the financial burden they were already experiencing from her husband's inability to work at times. We are praying that God will put on your heart to donate anything you can to make this journey easier on this family. The money will help them get through these dark and challenging times.

 

 

 

If you know Maskela, you know she's a fighter and the strength of her family. This life-changing event will set her back. Even though her recovery will be long, she's determined to get back on her feet. In the meantime, we will appreciate your financial blessings to lessen their burden.
