Many of you know my story of becoming a barbershop owner to now becoming a new mommy again after 14 years, if not let me explain.
For 14 yrs Keyon has been my only son until last January. Last January I was proud to annouce I was expecting my second son Wahji, not knowing soon I would lose him. Standing on my feet as my son got bigger caused my cervix to thin out and become weak causing my water to leak. I went to the Dr. on May14 and tell them what was happening to me, they never checked me. May 16, 2016 my son Wahji was born and considered a miscarriage at 19wks. In October, just 5 months after, we found out we were expecting again. This time with a little girl!! I now go see a Maternal Fetal Specialist every week, they keep a very close eye one me. So, Friday January 20 which marked my 19wk again I had a doctor appointment. I went in and had to stay, I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix.
A healthy cervix measures at 3.5 inches thick, that day mine measured at 1.3 inches thick and I needed an emergency surgery. January 21 I became a cerclage mom. A cerclage is when they sew your cervix to keep baby from miscarrying which resulted in me being on total bed rest and unable to work. I have been in and out of the hospital going into early labor. Its taking a toll on me mentally and physically.
I have exhausted all my savings and now I need help, help to keep my business and home flowing. In a attempt to ease my family's finacial burden I'm asking for help.
