Our little Pooh-Bear was killed by a large dog!

Hello, We are reaching out to the wonderful caring gofundme community to help our 2 precious toy yorkies, Pebbles (4 lbs) and Pooh-Bear (5.5 lbs). Pooh Bear was just attacked by a large dog. today Saturday and is currently in critical condition with multiple pucture wounds to the lungs. Just today we were out taking the little ones for a walk. Our other Yorkie, Pooh-Bear was at the end of a driveway when a large dog came out of the garage and imediatly attacked him. He aggressively grabbed him by the back and whipped him around like a rag doll. It was very traumatic to witness. My wife and the dogs owner imediately rushed in to help pry Pooh-Bear from its jaws. We were able to free Pooh-Bear for a brief moment when then the large dog grabbed him again. Finaly we were able to release him completly and the large dog was restrained. Pooh-Bear was bleeding everywhere and yelping uncontrolably, and gasping for air because of the pucture wounds to the lungs. My wife was hysterical, screaming and crying as we rushed Pooh-Bear into the car to take him to the ER as fast as we could. He was yelping in so much pain and gagging up blood.
He is in critical condition as I write this. The Doctor said have to try and keep him stable on oxygen, fluids, antibiotics and pain meds until he can be healthy enough to have surgery on his lungs. He has multiple broken ribs, 3 puncture wounds in his lungs as well as pneumo-thorax. They said the cost could be anywhere from 7 to $10,000. He will hopefully be strong enough to go into surgery on Monday.
Just two weeks ago Pebbles was nearing the 64th day of her pregnacy. The puppies stopped moving during pre-labor contractions. That's when we started to get concerned. She started having seriously bad diaria and started puking everywhere. We had to rush her to an emergency vet where she went into septic shock. Pebbles was in critical condition. She had to have emergency surgery. Both puppies were deceased and had to be removed via C-Section. She also had to have her uterus removed at during the surgery. because of the sepsis. She was in critcal condition for days after. Her temperature would drop severely along with intermintent ceasures. Her sugars were so low they werent even registering. After the surgery we had to transfer her back and forth from the Vet and a nightly ER five times. On the fifth day Pebbles finaly started to eat and they said she could go home the following day. For the next 14 days she was on 7 different medications including 3 different antibiotics. As you can imagine the medicals bills have been outrageous. We were so glad to have her home fighting to pull through. The bill was just over $6500
We have all our freinds and family praying for our "little fellar" Pooh-Bear. Pooh-Bear & Pebbles are cherished, super loved members of our family and we can not imagine how hard it would be if they were not with us. If you have read this far along, we appreciate your empathy and concern for our unfortunate situation. We are asking for prayers and financial assistance from this super caring community to help cover these unexpected VET/ER bills. If you can, please share and spread the word for our precious little ones. Thank you so much to all who choose to donate. God bless.
