July 25th update- 

We are still fighting for justice for our family. We remain displaced, paying a mortgage on a home we can’t live in  We still have no contents, no resolution, and no peace… but we’re not giving up. Our babies deserve a safe home, and we will keep pushing until that becomes reality. Thank you for standing with us through this nightmare. Toxic Mold Stole Our Home. It Almost Stole Our Baby. Please Help Us Start Over.

We never imagined we’d be here—sharing our story, asking for help, and starting from scratch.

But here we are. Because our baby’s life was nearly stolen by toxic mold hidden in a home we were told was safe. And now, we have nothing left but our faith, each other, and the will to keep fighting.

Our son Kohen was born healthy and perfect. But after moving into what we thought was a new beginning—a newly remodeled home—he started to change.

He stopped hitting milestones. Lost all his strength. His eyes would roll back. He stopped responding. He began having seizures. At five months old, he weighed just 7 pounds and couldn’t lift his head.

We saw every doctor. Every specialist. Did every test.

Nothing explained what was happening.

Until we discovered the truth.

Our home was filled with toxic black mold. Mold in every single room.

It was in the attic. Behind the walls. In the air.

Mold known to cause seizures, brain damage, immune suppression, and developmental regression.

And it was silently poisoning our baby.

These types of mold can also cause long term health issues.

We had to walk away from everything.

Our home.

Our furniture.

Our kids’ clothes, toys, bottles— everything

It was all contaminated.

We are now displaced with three young children—two of them with autism, one medically fragile—and nowhere safe to call home.
